Today I am going to share a little treasure I got introduced to recently. Rituals is a brand from the Netherlands that focuses mostly on body care, skincare, scented candles and fragrance. How I got to know Rituals was through my lovely cousin who brought me a full-size gift set from Switzerland on a recent trip to New York. Knowing that I am a bit of a body care aficionado, my cousin surprised me with a body scrub and a foaming shower gel.
Rituals is all about their scents and how this manifests in our body. As far as body care goes, Rituals ethos is based on Eastern traditions and inspired by nature. This is a line that is carried at high end hotels and airlines, sold exclusively at Barney’s in the USA with stores located in the New York city area and all over Europe.
On to my gifts, the first one is the Rituals Sunrise Scrub Sweet Orange and Cedar I LOVE citrus anything. This is a body scrub of a creamy consistency, it does not lather much and scrubs/ exfoliates very well. I love the scent of sweet orange and cedar, it is lovely and has an aroma that lingers softly. The exfoliation process is gentle enough and works amazingly. Since I love this scrub so much, I’ve been using it a lot.
Next is the Rituals Hamman Delight Fresh Eucalyptus and Rosemary Foaming Shower. This is a shower gel that starts off as a mousse, and quickly develops into a lather once it contacts the skin and water. I would describe this scent as a refreshing, clean smell, perfect for a morning shower. The pairing for eucalyptus and rosemary works fantastic in this shower foam. According to the collection Hamman which stems from an ancient cleansing tradition, one is meant to felt revitalized and nourished after.
There is nothing more calming than a little shower TLC and Rituals offers this plus a real luxe quality about their products. I was so impressed with my new body care gifts, I am definitely going to re-stock since it is available online and in-store in New York City. Hopefully, I’ll be documenting my in-store experience with all my readers.
Retail value for most bath and body care products starts at $15 and up to $30.
**This was a gift and opinions and review are my own.
