Receiving a Milk Makeup package was quite a delight, and getting Milk Makeup Eye Pigments, total pleasant surprise. Admittedly, I am not a pigment fan (and by that I mean loose pigments, they tend to be messy and hard to work with). However, Milk Makeup Eye Pigments offer a very unique cream shadow consistency that layers very nicely. I’ve been playing with these pigment tubes and find them pearlescent, fun, easy to carry/ work with as they come in a range of cool/ mid tone warm. I’d suggest using a lip brush or an eyeliner thin brush if you decide to use it as a liner. I also see Milk Makeup working very well as a lip add-on for extra shine/ staying power. Shades After Party and Sesh Blue are my most favorite.
From the brand:
“Highly pigmented, long wear cream shadow in a portable tube delivers attention-grabbing color in one swipe. Hyper pearlescent micas create dimensional looks that can be as refined or rebellious as you want. Use fingertips to dab onto lid and blend, layer to intensify. Formula stays put and will not crease. Can also be used as a long wear liner if applied along the upper or lower lash line. All Milk Makeup products are cruelty-free.”
I’d agree on the highly pigmented long wear statement, these don’t come off easily at all. I loved the range of colors from dark to light, in total you get nine colors to choose from. One word of warning, these are very glittery! So if you are mixing them with a shadow, I’d use a matte unless of course, you LOVE shimmer a ton.
Milk Makeup is available at Sephora and Urban Outfitters, both online and retail.
Milk Makeup Eye Pigments retail at $24 each.
